Levoit HEPA Filters: Match the Right Filter to Your Purifier

Best for
Pet owners wanting app control

Best for
Gamers buying a Core 300-P from scratch

The Levoit Air Purifier for Home Pets in this listing is the Core 300-P purifier itself, not a replacement filter. It ships with the Levoit Original Filter, a 3-in-1 design, and is AHAM Verifide with a CADR of 143 CFM for smoke, 153 CFM for dust and 167 CFM for pollen. Levoit says it refreshes a 222 square foot room 4.8 times per hour, or a 1,073 square foot room once per hour.

For a gaming room, the noise and light controls matter. Sleep Mode drops to 24dB with Levoit’s QuietKEAP technology, and the display lights can be switched off. There is a 2, 4, 6 or 8 hour timer and a check filter indicator. Levoit states 99.97% efficiency for 0.1 to 0.3 micron particles, tested by an independent lab, and notes that the filter is HEPA-grade while running in Sleep Mode. The unit is 120V and intended for US use only.

It suits readers whose old purifier is worn out or who are buying for the first time. If you already own a Core 300 or Core 300-P, you only need one of the Core 300 replacement filters below.

• CADR 143 smoke, 153 dust, 167 pollen
• 24dB Sleep Mode and lights-off display
• Timer and filter-check indicator

Best for
Core Mini owners wanting a two-pack

The 2 Pack Core Mini Filter H13 is made by Colorfullife, not Levoit. It is built to replace the Levoit Core Mini-RF filter in the Core Mini. The title also mentions the Core Mini-P, but the feature text says the filter fits the Core Mini model only, and the specifications name the Core Mini LAP-C161. Because of that conflict, Core Mini-P owners should confirm fit before ordering.

Each filter is a 3-in-1 design with a pre-filter, an H13 true HEPA layer and activated carbon, with a claimed 99.97% efficiency down to 0.3 microns. Each measures 5.7 x 5.7 x 4.8 inches, and you get two in the pack. The seller claims a longer service life than standard filters, but the listing does not give a specific figure.

It suits Core Mini owners who want a spare on hand. Levoit itself recommends its own filters and says CADR figures are calculated on original filters, so expect performance claims here to be the seller’s own. For more on the compact model, see our guide to the Levoit compact HEPA air purifier.

Best for
Core 300 owners wanting the standard filter

The Levoit Core 300-P Air Purifier Replacement is the standard genuine filter, model Core 300-RF. It has three stages: a fine preliminary filter for pet fur, lint and hair, a multi-layer filter for dust, mold spores, pollen and mites, and an activated carbon layer that adsorbs odors and fumes including cooking smells, smoke, ammonia and VOCs.

The listing gives dimensions of 7.6 x 7.6 x 5.79 inches and a weight of 14.08 ounces. It does not specify a replacement interval or filter life. Levoit also notes that other Core 300 variants exist for specific needs, such as smoke or toxins.

This is the everyday choice for Core 300 and Core 300-P owners whose rooms mainly need dust, pollen and snack smell control. If you share your setup with a cat or dog, the Pet Allergy version is the more targeted option. Our roundup of Levoit air purifier replacement filters covers more variants.

• Genuine Levoit, model Core 300-RF
• Three-stage filtration with activated carbon
• 7.6 x 7.6 x 5.79 inches

The LEVOIT Air Purifier for Home Pets in this listing is the Vital 100S-P purifier, not a filter. It shares the Core 300-P’s AHAM Verifide room figures of 4.8 air changes per hour in 222 square feet and once per hour in 1,073 square feet, and it lists 99.97% efficiency for 0.1 to 0.3 micron particles.

The differences are pet and smart features. A wide U-shaped inlet and Pet Mode target airborne fur, and the pre-filter is washable with water. Light detection dims the display automatically, and Sleep Mode goes as low as 25dB. The VeSync app lets you set schedules, check filter life and connect to voice assistants. It weighs 8.6 pounds and measures 12.64 x 6.3 x 16.02 inches.

It suits pet owners who want app control and schedules, such as running Pet Mode during the day and Sleep Mode overnight. The listing does not specify which replacement filter it uses, so check that before buying spares. For more bedroom and pet options, our guide to Levoit purifiers for bedrooms and dorms goes deeper.

• Washable pre-filter
• Pet Mode, Auto Mode and schedules
• VeSync app with filter life tracking

The Levoit Core 300-P Air Purifier Replacement Pet Allergy filter, model Core 300-P-RF-PA, is Levoit’s genuine Core 300 filter tuned for pets. Levoit says it captures fur and absorbs unpleasant odors. It measures 7.48 x 7.48 x 6.3 inches and weighs 1.17 pounds, slightly heavier than the standard filter.

The listing is short and does not break down its layers, filter life or efficiency figure, so we cannot say how its stages differ from the standard Core 300 filter beyond Levoit’s stated focus on fur and odor.

It suits Core 300 and Core 300-P owners who game with a pet nearby. Without pets, the standard filter is the simpler pick.

Best for
Core 200S owners in small rooms

The Levoit Core 200S-P Air Purifier Replacement filter, model Core 200S-RF, is the genuine filter for the Core 200S line. It uses the same three-stage approach described for the Core 300 filter: a fine pre-filter for fur and lint, an efficient filter for dust, mold spores and pollen, and activated carbon for odors, smoke and VOCs.

It measures 7.28 x 5.75 x 7.28 inches and weighs 10.88 ounces. The listing does not specify replacement intervals or efficiency figures.

It suits Core 200S owners, typically with smaller rooms or desk setups. It will not fit a Core 300.
